  1. I’m new to induction cooking. I cooked whole grain rice for the first time and it took about 75 minutes. I boiled the water/rice and lowered the “temp” setting to “4” after about 10 minutes. I lowered it to “3”, it took another 65 minutes. I was looking for some input beyond:
    “Mix at a boil over high heat. Make heat low, cover, and simmer for 45 minutes”.
